2. X-18 is designed according to Procreate®️. So if you are using other app which can customize the shortcut (such as Artstudio®️), it will work, but you need to update the settings of the shortcut key in the app.

The connection of X-20 is bluetooth, and it can be customized. What you need to do is to download ‘YesWord’ app in your moblie phone or pad,and then you can customize the keypad. After customization, the keypad will store the command you assigned before, and then you can apply this keypad to your other device (no need to download or open the app) via bluetooth. 

Keep in mind that,only when you’re customizing the keypad, you need to open the APP, and in other cases, you don’t need APP.

At present, the keyboard does not support multi-device connection. After setting, if you need to connect to another device, hold down the Bluetooth key of the keyboard and release the key until the blue light blinks. Then you can connect to the Bluetooth of another device.

Some ipads ( for example ipad air 13) need to reboot after the keypad is connected to the ipad, then the keypad can work well. No need to reboot everytime. just need to reboot at the 1st time.

In procreate, the key ‘Option’  ⌥  is the shorcut of the slider modify button ‘口’, You can set it in Procreate. Actions -->Prefs-->Gesture control-->Eyedropper. Then you can find 6 ways to active the eyedropper, and select one that you like.

The final layout displayed by APP is the final output layout of keyboard. The output layout of the keyboard is changed each time the layout is switched, but no matter how many times the operation is performed, the last displayed layout is used as the output layout of the keyboard.

In order to distinguish the key value of the numeric keypad, we add (Kp) after the key value in the numeric keypad area. That is, if the key value is followed by (Kp), it means that the key value is the key value on the small numeric keyboard.

If you are using it as a calculator, we strongly recommend using a key with (Kp), as this setting will not be affected by the language input method.

Another case is that Shift is used, for example, a key is set to “Shift”+”3”. Due to the function of Shift, the actual output is “#”. Another example is a key set with “Shift” + “A” key, the actual output is the uppercase letter “A”

The Shift key is a keyboard modifier key that allows users to type a single capital letter and change the top number keys to a symbol.

So if you need to implement these key values, you need to press  and hold the shift key and then press the corresponding key. We can set “Shift”+”2” on one button to output “@”, or set “Shift” on one button and set “2” on the other button, then press and hold the “Shift” button and then Press the “2” button to output “@”.
